Bacon Wrapped Scotch Eggs - Gluten Free

Ingredients

  • 4 Eggs

  • 1 pound ground beef 

  • 8 slices bacon

  • Salt & Pepper to taste 

Directions

Put eggs in saucepan filled with cold water. Bring to boil and boil for 4.5 minute. immediately take out and put in ice water for 10 minutes. Peel the eggs carefully and set aside.


Mix the ground beef with salt and pepper and divide into four equal balls. Flatten the ground beef in your hand, put egg on top of beef and wrap around egg so that entire egg is covered with ground beef. Then wrap two slices of bacon around each scotch egg. Repeat the process for the other three portion.


Put on parchment paper covered baking sheet and bake at 400°F for about 15 minute. This step can also be done in the air fryer at 400°F for 15 minutes.
